The hard, cold reality is that it takes money to
run any organization. Particularly now, with fuel
prices near $4 per gallon, even a "simple"
activity such as attending a regional fly-in to
spread the word about PPCing can easily cost over
$100 just for the fuel. Add food, educational supplies,
and the various other sundry items, and... it adds
up.
We're always grateful for all donations. To aid
in our fundraising effort, we're raffling off a
brand new Six Chuter Legend XL. The winner will
also receive any training and study materials necessary
to legally fly the PPC, and all testing expenses
will be paid for. Even the cost of the Airworthiness
certificate inspection will be covered. The whole
package is worth about $25,000.
The raffle officially began on September 18, 2008.
Only 1,000 raffle tickets will be sold. The cost
is $100 per raffle ticket, purchased singley, or
$75 each if two or more are purchased. A minimum
of 500 tickets must be sold for a winner to be chosen.
If 500 tickets aren't sold, participants may (if
they choose) receive a refund, less a 10% processing
fee.
To purchase your raffle ticket(s), click
on the "Enter the Raffle" button located
above, to the left. On the Donations page,
please use either the "Enter the Raffle"
button next to "Donate via Credit Card Directly",
or if you prefer PayPal, use the "Enter the
Raffle" through PayPal: button. Use the One-time
Donation option.
Please get involved and participate. The PCEF is
the only non-profit educational organization in
the world dedicated to "spreading the word"
about PPCing. Soon we hope to have ELLASS up and
running. But we can't do it without your support.
Please consider purchasing a raffle ticket. Encourage
your friends to do the same. If you belong to a
flying club or group, spread the word to the members.
Perhaps the group wants to get together and purchase
a block of tickets. Then the PPC could be used by
group members. (Fixed wing organizations share planes
all the time) If you have a PPC related web site,
please put in a link to this page.
Here are some additional photos of a Six Chuter
Legend XL. The winner will be able to specify the
color of the PPC they receive. Also, the PPC the
winner receives may slightly differ in appearance
from the PPC in these photos. Regardless, it's one
heck of a machine, and you'll have a great time
flying!
